We are currently seeking a Tier 1 Support Engineer to join our exciting and entrepreneurial company.
We are a team of experienced and educated trusted business advisors. We focus on delivering technology solutions for our clients that provide the highest level of stability, security and productivity possible. We then utilize our industry leading IT support model to manage our clients’ technology infrastructures, so they can focus on managing their business.
The Tier 1 Support Engineer is an integral role to our firm. You will be responsible providing technical support and solutions to our clients in the SMB marketplace. You will act as a team player and continue to provide the highest level of client support in the industry. We are looking for motivated Engineers who are looking for an opportunity with a growing company. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the ins-and-outs of the Information Technology industry.
Responsibilities:
• Provides expert knowledge of overall network configurations, network status, and user issues of assigned clients
• Maintains accurate documentation, proper configurations and monitoring accuracy
• Assists Client Care Center in prioritizing client service requests
• Identifies possible cause of known issues and relays information to Client Care Center for timely resolution
• Identifies potential issues, proactively informs Client Care Center for proper resolution
• Coordinates with client 3rd party technical vendors to resolve issues as needed
• Provides technical support to Client Care Center
• Emergency response to technical issues as needed
• Participation in On Call Schedule
Required Skills:

• Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to be a team player
• Experience in a similar position for 1-2 years or prior internships
• Ability to maintain, and effectively troubleshoot and resolve Tier I and II issues
• Basic understanding of general concepts
• Windows domain architecture
• Firewalling, Switching and Routing
• Security/Vulnerability
• DNS
• General best practices for maintaining network functionality
• Major client and industry specific software applications
Preferred Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
